 After eight years as an avionics technician in the Royal New Zealand Air Force, Pete Cross obtained degrees in electronics and signal processing.  He now designs sensors and automation equipment for the agricultural industry. 

Pete has a fascination with seeing theory come to life through elegant practical solutions.  With a special interest in the man-machine interface, and how teams cooperate to complete complex projects under pressure, it's no wonder his favourite book is Digital Apollo, Human and Machine in Spaceflight by David A. Mindell.
